PMLN President and National Assembly Opposition Leader Shehbaz Sharif says Pakistan and Turkey are inseparable brotherly countries that are important partners in the development of Muslim World’s Unity, interests and strength.
Turkey’s Ambassador to Pakistan Ihsan Mustafa Yardakul called upon the PMLN President.
The two discussed at length the bilateral and other issues of mutual interests during the meeting.
Shehbaz conveyed his good wishes for Turkey’s President Recip Tayyip Erdogan. He said Turkey is an important country of the Islamic world and Pakistan holds it dear like a brotherly country. He said President Erdogan extended his valuable support for development projects in Pakistan especially Punjab.
He said the two countries are important partners in the Muslim Ummah’s interests, unity and strength.
The unity and solidarity of the Muslim Ummah is a crucial need of the hour he said. He pointed out that the enemies of Islam and Islamic world want to create rifts among Muslim countries to entangled them in conflicts amongst themselves.
The National Assembly Opposition Leader Shehbaz Sharif said, with his measures, reforms and Organization, had given a new face to Turkey.
Ambassador Yardakul congratulated the PMLN President on his complete recovery from the new coronavirus. He said Pakistan is like a second home for Turks. The two countries are inseparable, he added. He praised Shehbaz for expediting the progress and development of Punjab as the Chief Minister of the province.
The Turkish Envoy appreciated the increase in cooperation between the two countries during Shehbaz’s time as the CM.
